Default Green bag Tip

I carry a stout green plastic rubbish sack in my camera bag for the occasions when I need to kneel down for a low level shot on wet ground. It takes up very little room in the bottom of my bag, so is always there when needed.

I have a black sack of the Ilford 40x50 cm papers now in the camera bag,
good for kneeling down or as a camera cover when raining. Wish I had it already with me when taking this photo: http://www.monoart.de/photo_5258022.html ;-)
I got wet to the skin because I threw my jacket over the camera to protect it before the sun came out and this wonderful rainbow appeared!

That's a good tip Dave.

I always carry a couple of old plastic carrier bags (harder to find these days) for the same reason. You can also sit on them on a wet rock when you have your sandwiches

Neil.

I always carry one of those green foam kneeling pads that gardeners use (£1 from Asda), they're great for stony ground or pebble beaches and feather light.
