Wow! I remember using these back in the 1970's, which I bought from a chemist in the town centre, who also stocked the various bottles to develop film and paper - Johnson's of Hendon I think.

And I also remember the day when I went in and say my first small electronic camera flash unit on the shelf. I couldn't believe that LOTS of flashes could come out of this compact unit and that I wouldn't have to continue to buy bulbs, after bulbs...

So are the above just collectables now, or do people still use them?

I used to use BULBS with my 1953 British 'Ensign Selfix 16/20 Model II
I have a photo taken in the ARMY using BULBS and that camera !
It was a Party in No 12 Co RAMC Royal Herbert Hospital Woolwich

That would have been 1956 ! The Sergeant used to give the Nurses Coke with Absolute Alcohol in it ---- After Royal Herbert Hospital I was sent to GERMANY -- Munster, Berlin and Iserlohn Military Hospitals where I ended up as NCO i/c Path Lab.
