My thanks to all of you who have responded to my article in the RPS Journal - we have had a very positive response, and if we get a group going we can all enourage each other (RPS members or not) to enjoy, understand, promote, educate about and practice analogue photography. Dave

The level of support received from several continents is such that the group is going ahead, and details of the inaugural meeting will be e-mailed to members shortly, and appear in January's Journal. Thank you all those of you who have supported this initiative. Dave

We had some thirty-five people come, lively and enjoyable participation, some good light on the Cathedral which members photographed first, and stimulating talks. We will now formally set the group up with the RPS office, and our section on their webs site will go live soon once the formalities are a completed.
