Default cleanliness is next to godliness

just looking at my negatives I developed last night and there is a faint white line in the same place on every frame it is 120 film and it was taken on my mamiya 645afd11 I have just taken the film back of my camera and found a small hair trapped between the body and film back and it was sticking down in line with the negative .its all my fault I have got a bit slapdash ,and just load the film change the lens and not bother much about dust and dirt ,I am going to go back to my old ways and clean all my cameras and lenses with a blow duster brush ...I blame all this on of our two chiwawa,s ,and I will be docking them half a Bonio...

This is an opportune reminder for me. I got a Malamute from that Yukon saloon where Dangerous Dan McGrew was shot by the man from the creeks and boy, are they hairy dogs

Only kidding but seriously I haven't checked the back of either of my cameras for ages - just gaily inserting films without a thought.

Time I looked.

Thanks, Paul

Mike

last year whilst photographing an outdoor party I somehow ended up with a piece of plastic confetti lodged in my Mamiya 645, which neatly imprinted a white star on the corner of several frames. It actually looked rather attractive.

when I realised what it was I took the film back of my camera and low and behold there was the hair ,I will have to just be more careful in future ,on some of the negs I can work around it so not all's lost ,and I have forgiven the dogs .I was taking photos of the horses in the field next to my garden with my mamiya - sekor C 500mm 5.6 lens ,and other than the hair the sharpness of this lens is amazing, I was having to much fun and murthy's law came in to play .oh well that's life I suppose..
