Kodak Selectol-Soft
Does anyone know if Kodak D-165 formula is the same as their Selectol-Soft?
I have a note of D-165 formula in my old note book but can't find where I got it from and I can't find any reference to it on the web?

Hi Trevor
There is a post on APUG by Kieth Tapscott who I have seen on FADU which mentions Selectol-Soft being a modified version of D165, so maybe Kieth can give you an answer on this one, but in the meantime here is a link to the post 3rd posting down the page http://www.apug.org/forums/forum172/...-papers-2.html Neil |

The formula that I've used for years is as follows:
Metol 6.0gr Sodium Sulphite 25.0gr Sodium Carbonate 37.0gr Pot Brom 10% sol'n 5ml per litre working dev The volume of Pot Brom solution can be varied depending on the degree of warmth you wish in the final print. I'm fairly certain that it is the same as D165 |
