Richard,
Your first link looks just the job. So if I were to swap the plug with an IEC one and plug the extension into the analyser pro the analyser would power the enlargers if they were plugged into the extension?

Correct. Just switch on the one(s) you want to use - subject to the total load not exceeding 750W of course. The one I linked to has a neon indicator which should be safe for B&W print materials (not film), but if you're concerned about it just cover it with opaque sticky tape.
