Hi BuzzNL unfortunately everything in the U.K is expensive, and there's no real ability to shop around in Europe anymore. I'm going to my first meeting of the club I have joined tomorrow evening there I'll see what the members recommend . I will check out your recommendations.

Hi again Bill,

finding a good photo club sometimes takes a while to find, but the one you've joined is rare to still have access to a darkroom for members.

Which London club is it out of curiosity? I belonged to one for a good many years before moving of of London, where I was also a judge visiting various clubs to mark competitions. I like to think that I was a not too bad one as some have not so good reputations...

The website was a bit hard to find, as they only refer to the club as 'The camera club', with not a single mention of it actually being in / near Kennington, presuming that I have even found the correct place?

Either way, I hope you enjoy going there, as a good club is a good place to belong to for many, although there are some photographers who make a point of never going near one, often without explanation...
