Setting up a Dark room
As you are right at the beginning I have a few items that you can have FOC. I am having a clear-out and I would be glad to give them a good home. Some items are incomplete and you would need spares but they are quite easy to get hold of
How about for starters an LPL 6700 colour enlarger can be used for B&W as well. Fully working, but needs a baseboard and a transformer. The baseboard is easy to fabricate, I may even have a substitute in the garage. The transformer would cost about £90 from a company called Second Hand Darkroom Supplies. They are a very good company to deal with. I have film developing tanks, 10x8 print dishes and rough looking, but fully working 24" x 10" dish heater. I live near Durham so not a vast distance away.
