Thanks for that, Paul. There's a lot to be said for these. Contact prints that allow you to see "big enough" plus all the benefits of roll film with nearly 5x4 quality. Big but easily handled and relatively light in weight would be my conclusions
It might have just been me but did he say that it was a coupled focus system? I think he did but he wasn't the easiest of gents to follow.

I don't have a 6x9 enlarger and couldn't justify getting one. A 8 x10 print is my max so couldn't use the big neg benefits.

I enjoyed learning about it though

Best of luck to seller

Mike

I have settled on 10x8 for my maximum print size now (maybe a few 9 1/2x12), after looking at some of Edward Weston's actual prints even though I can shoot no bigger than 6x6cm (excepting a 6x9 folder). I can print bigger on my Varicon with a card mask in the 5x4 holder and either an old Wray 105mm or Ross 9cm lens I have.
A medium format rangefinder camera like this would have been ideal when I went out and about shooting more, pre-arthritis, though my dream then was a Mamiya 6 with all lenses.
