Default Hello from sunny Surrey

Hi all, been looking for a darkroom forum for a while now, I probably wont be the most hugely active poster as I'm on lordy knows how many forums, and work keeps me on my feet.

Im Mid 20's photography technician and teacher for a couple of colleges, my background is mainly in digital, but I'm having to re-learn (very quickly) all my darkroom skills from when I was studying.

I probably wont be able to offer loads of help on darkroom techniques, but I can certainly help people with the other side of things, darkroom maintenance, health and safety and COSHH because of my jobs.

Ive uploaded a couple of images into the crit gallery for everyone to have a wee look at.

A warm welcome and I hope the darkroom side of things goes smoothly for you.

Welcome aboard...

Glad to hear there is still some Real photography going on in the colleges (that's real as in "real-ale" - somewhat fitting that CAMRA has the acronym it does as I think there are similarities between the qualities of traditional ales and traditional photography )...

Welcome Simeon.

We have been discussing things like darkroom ventilation recently. There have also been discussions regarding sensitivity to Metol and other developing agents.
