Default Hello from Birmingham

Hello All.
I am Mike from Birmingham, without the accent!
Old large format Sinars are my pride and joy, along with the Mamiyas I've picked up. Using 510 pyro at the moment while busy at work I have not got to worry about it going off. Develop and print everything myself in my 6x4 darkroom.
Winter is my main time to indulge myself. Portraits are my real love.

Hi Mike: welcome aboard!

Trying to navigate through Brum one day gave my satnav a headache and it went and had to have a lie-down for a few hours... Some photogenic looking buildings have gone up there lately, which has to be an improvement!

Have fun, Bob.

Hello Rob
I have been using Pryo 510 for nearly eighteen months now. With the smaller formats I use semi-stand development and Forma film stock. Larger formats get stand development with Ilford and Adox film stock. I came about Pryo 510 from Jay De Fehr and find that the keeping qualities, ease of use and the fine detailed negatives all positives.
Making it yourself is easy and reminds me of chemistry lessons at school, also I make the fixer using a TF3 formula off the Digitaltruth website.
Last weekend I tried some Neopan 400 and the negs printed extremely smoothly. Mike
