Default Hello from near King's Lynn

Hi, everyone,
I'm 72 and recently tried to update myself to digital. Bought a Leica Digilux 2. Now I'm sick to death of chargers, cables, computers, cards, Lightroom, Photoshop and heaven knows what else. And it's a heavy, clunky camera. So back to my Rollei T and my Rollei 35SE. Insert film. Take pics. Send to Ilford or Peak. Receive pics in post. Easy. Whatever will they think of next.

Yes. It's the easiest system I can think of too.

hello agrokid, and welcome to Fadu.
What they'll think of next is not my worry, they'll surely come up with something that would cost you an arm and a leg.
Allow me, however, to suggest you might think of next : to develop your own black and white film. Have you already tried it?
look forward to seeing you on this forum
Peter

Default Have I tried developing B&W?

Thanks everyone for kind words. Yes, Peter, I used to have a darkroom, but not any more. Don't want the work. Only a 5x4 would tempt me down that road again. But can't really see me carrying one around. Not even a Razzle. I'm in love with my Rollei 35SE.

Welcome Ralph. I am slightly younger but had reached the same conclusions as yourself. Beside what you get from Ilford or Peak can be held in your hand and easily passed around friends in a pub without any high tech equipment
