What dilution does one use for working strength?
That would be a decent price for Kodak PolyMax T, because a 1 litre bottle of that makes 10 litres of working solution, and it offers decently long life.

I find AG to be quite pricy over a lot of items (Film, paper and Chemicals, and there are cheaper outlets if you care to look around. Even the likes of WEX sell 5 litres of MG at just over 30! I was paying 18-20 for MG developer x 5 litres from elsewhere 20+ years ago.

Tetenal recommended a dilution of 1:9 but since warm tones require a short development I have found "90 to 120 seconds" too slow so I usually soaked my slowly Fomatone Baryta in a dip of 1:7.

It is true that once opened this stuff discarded rapidely.

That's a good way of buying it. I decant it into ten 500ml bottles and it keeps well.

Absolutely! I have been doing that since the early 90's if each bottle is split into 5x100 bottles each is enough for a good evenings printing so you waste virtually nothing.
