wall light shining on picture
Just done a portrait for a friend. The picture will be mounted and framed and placed on a wall that will have the picture directly under a wall light, normal household tungsten type bulb.
Is this likely to be a problem for the print, will there be any risk of fading due to being directly under a wall light? |

As long as it is processed to archivel standards I don't see any problem, but due to the reflections I would tend to use a matt paper.toning in weak selenium toner will help, just a quick tone, as part of the process will help make sure, but it should last a lifetime, or maybe longer, The big "Killer" of black and white prints is direct sunlight,Richard

Thanks Richard.
Oh well I have an excuse to buy more chemicals then, i'll now list selenium toner as a must have |
