Rollei RPX400
I have unexpectedly received some rolls of RPX 400 in 120 format. I have looked of a thread on this film but failed to find one.
Has anyone else used this film? What do you think of it? what developers have you used?

Yes I have used it but quite a time ago. I was not impressed, very much anyway. It was quite grainy and reminiscent of quite old film that stretched film speed, at the expense of grain. HP3 was in that class but HP4 is in a different world.
The closest I think it comes to with todays offerings are possibly Kentmere 400 or Foma 400 neither of which I use because of the grain. |

I tried a few rolls a while ago, and didn't like it at all, I found it to be very grainy and contrasty, and difficult to print, I believe that, like a lot of the Maco/Rollei films it is derivied from Agfa aviphot film,

over here it has rained on every day since October 2nd, it must be a month since I have had a chance to get out with a camera, I bought a Minolta 3 weeks ago along with 20 rolls of Fomapan and they are both still waiting for the rain to stop, we have had the second wettest October since records began, and November is headu=ing in the same direction

My attempt to use a Rollei film (RPX 25) ended up in me receiving some incorrectly sized Rollei Ortho 25.... so I have not been tempted to revisit this "neo-Rollei" brand.
