David, I really like your photographs. Your website is a real treat. I don't know how you do it but you manage to elevate photography into a means of self expression. I only seem to be able to make a photographic record of what is there. And you do it with the simplest of means - a couple of 35mm cameras and an old twin lens....

Looking good, David.

Does the number and name of each photograph serve a function or purpose?

Some lovely images on the website David.

I've also enjoyed reading the text articles you have put on there.

And well done! It's great to see someone get an FRPS with darkroom prints, as I know how much work is involved in getting any of the accreditation's.

Alan, Marty and Terry thank you for your comments. Marty, the numbers are only an attempt to catalogue the pictures.

By 'catalogue', does it mean your website pictures are indexed to your negative and darkroom prints?

Marty, the numbers aren’t that technical and don’t relate to negatives or prints. As I have to scan my work before loading it onto the website, I numbered each scan, as a precaution against uploading the same image twice.

I really like the simplicity of the site and have never heard of Clikpic. As I am keen to build a new website for myself and also one for my partner, I was wondering how expensive Clikpic is and how easy was it to construct and manage the website?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Bests,

David

You have some wonderful images on your site.
I like the straight forward uncluttered look and the easy way you can move around the site. Nicely done
