Film backs
With the demise of 220 Tri X can anyone advise how to use a 220 hasselblad A24 back with 120 film.

It may not be the same with Hasselblad as with Bronica but I use my 6x4.5 220 back with 120 film happily for 15 shots.
It winds on tighter but not a real problem, not as much as some ORWO 120 I had which would never go flat. |

Just a note of caution
I am not sure but I don't think 120 and 220 film starts at exactly the same point on the reel of backing paper. I am not familiar with Hasselblad backs to know if this might or might not be a problem Martin |

Martin - thanks, I have got hold of H Blad and they advise that you can use 120 on 220 back, but the spacing of the frames will be uneven and the last one or two frames will be lost. They also say they it will differ each time.
Thanks Peter |
