Default Denis Thorpe pictures for sale

To celebrate the work of Denis Thorpe, the Guardian is offering copies of some of his work for sale.

I really like the photograph of Arbor Low. I seem to remember reading that he took it with a compact camera on a family day out.
When I lived in North Staffordshire I had a couple of trips to Arbor Low. It is very extensive and not at all easy to photograph. I failed miserably, which is one reason I find Denis Thorpe's photograph so impressive.

I would have been interested if they were handmade fibre based silver gelatin prints, preferably by the photographer himself.

Does it state somewhere what the prints are made of?

Thanks the info was just one more click away and I failed to click

A nice article about the former Guardian photographer and his favourite photograph.
