Default Hi from South Wales

Any other members from South Wales on here I wonder?

My journey back to film started about 3 years ago when I bought a Rolleicord Va and started developing my own B&W. No darkroom, just a changing bag and the kitchen sink.

For the next two years I dabbled in film, while still being mostly digital. That changed in June last year when I bought a Hasselblad and all of a sudden I didn't want to use anything else. For the last year I've shot almost exclusively on film. I have a number of 35mm cameras to supplement the Hassy, Olympus OM1, OM2, OM10 and OM4ti, XA, Bessa R3A, Zorki 4K and Pentax K1000. I've always had a soft spot for Olympus. The OM1 and XA I've owned for 20-odd years. I also have a Crown Graphic for 5x4, but I haven't used it much yet.

I develop E6 and C41 at home. I used to do them in the kitchen sink (even E6) but recently I was given a Jobo CPE2 with lift, so that makes life easier.

I've recently joined Ffotogallery in Cardiff and started using their fantastic darkroom facilities for B&W printing.

One of the things I love about using film is that there is always something new to learn and I look forward to you guys helping me with that!

Welcome to the FADU forum Roger.
You seem to have enough cameras for now - as if that were possible

Hi Roger, welcome

ffotogallery is a very interesting concept- and obviously it stood the test of time being established in 1978.

And I enjoyed going through cariadus and the various related sites, especially 'Back Lanes'.

Hi Roger. Glad someone else has way more film cameras than they need. 😜
