C41 processing
I have just processed a C41 Fuji C200 film. What is special about that you may say? Well the developer was mixed from the concentrate back in July 2019.
It had been stored in a 150cc brown glass bottle with a neoprene seal. I had heated the developer in the microwave before screwing the cap on tight. When it cools it forms a partial vacuum. I had long suspected this may work and it appears it does. I have made a print from one of the negs and there does not seem to be any significant colour balance shift or loss of saturation. |
