NOVA Darkrooms make a purpose built one - https://www.theimagingwarehouse.com/...-Darkroom-Tent

In addition, Ilford are just about to launch one - see Firstcall for details - https://www.firstcall-photographic.c...arkroom/p13074

About time Ilford!

They obviously feel (by looking at income figures but also by reading the forums?) that home processing and printing is on the up and that people are lacking darkroom space, so are bringing out a reasonably priced darkroom tent.

I'm not in the market for one now, but would have jumped at one in the past - especially at the good price it's being offered at.

Ilford's version also gives about 4" / 10 cm more room in the length and width dimensions, as well as being cheaper at £215.00, than the Nova ones, which sell at either £549.95 at The Imaging Warehouse, or £649.00 at FirstCall, for the same item = a big difference in price!!

Again, well done Ilford and what other treats have you in store for the already equipped?!

I’ve been without a darkroom since moving house in June, so I have ordered the Ilford tent. It looks like it will accommodate everything I need, and probably force a bit of economy of kit. I realised during the moving process that I had a bit more equipment than I really need. It will be refreshing to concentrate on the printing, without wasting time thinking about what bits and pieces to use.
