An interesting link. I was never sure how many "users" had to submit their dev times before they were published to ensure that there was little or no chance of them being "rogue" times.
I couldn't find any mention of this in the article. Having said that I have to say that the times are often that of the film and developer makers in most cases but when the times do differ by an appreciable amount I am never sure how much credence to give them. Great if say 100 users have submitted the same or nearly the same time but ,yes, I am curious about what statistical method, if any, is used as a basis of for publishing the times A useful chart nevertheless Mike |
