I'm now in the Travelodge in very sunny Kidderminster. What's the cunning plan?

I think the cunning plan is to meet at Ian's house after 6pm and by 7pm.

Excellent! Where does he live and is anybody going that way? I can meet you all at the Premier Inn if that works. See you later.

Back home late last night from Kidderminster. I would like to thank Ian Grant very much for organising a very interesting weekend, he even fed us!

I learned a great deal about the past of Kidderminster and the surrounding area. New experiences for me on Severn Valley Railway and visiting Ironbridge. I should also mention there are some great pubs around there! Somewhere to revisit. It was also very nice to meet new and old friends for the weekend.

We don't do enough of this?

I would add my thanks to Ian for organising the weekend; not just organising but feeding us and repairng my camera, guiding us and sharing his excellent prints. It was good to meet old friends and meet new ones. Every time we meet I learn a bit more.
It was very much appreciated
Tony

I would like to echo the previous thanks to Ian. It was a really good and enjoyable w/e. I am not a great railway enthusiast but it was good to take photos in a relatively unknown environment.

I must return to the area, as there is much more to explore.

It is good to put faces to names from the Forum.

It was raining by the time I got home but we were very lucky with the weather over the w/e. Ian must have a contact in the right place!!

Thanks, Mike

Many thanks to Ian, for both organising the weekend and feeding us all.

It was great to catch up with all you guys.

The print viewing is always quite a humbling experience - the quality of the printing is terrific as always.

I only stopped about another hour after you guys left on Sunday - the fun fare kept turning up the volume of the music and so I did the sensible thing and went home.

I'm looking forward to the next get together already.

Mike - in case you are interested - the huge anchor we drove past was the spare one from the Titanic - according to one of my friends who lives locally.
