Make any 5 x 4 camera into an enlarger!!
I've just seen this on Intrepid's site = the people who brought us cheaper 5 x 4 cameras.
It's based on an idea done a long time ago but brought up to date with the new technology we have. https://intrepidcamera.co.uk/blog/in...repid-enlarger A Kickstarter campaign starts in October 2018. Terry S |

Thanks Terry
I'd love to go to 10x8, and would buy an Intrepid. However, I don't want to live with contact prints, and 10x8 enlargers are both rare, expensive and bloody huge. I'm not going to find one of them down the charity shop for a tenner. If this sold well and Intrepid made an enlarger back for their 10x8 I'd be straight in. The bigger ground glass is lovely to work with, and the amount of information thebigger negative captures is just astonishing. I took a photograph inside a church in Harris. The far end wall had a window, which looks tiny on the negative, but under a loupe you can see a moth in one corner of the window. Staggering. |
