Default Mobile forum use difficulty

Hi.

Does any one else have difficulty using this forum on a mobile phone? I fibd that the FADU banner keeps popping up diagonally when I expand the page to read more clearly. Very frustrating.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Hi Doug

I sometimes check-in on my Blackberry and while it's not perfect I can usually manage ok and haven't experienced the problem you describe. I also sometimes use my tablet which is a google device and it seems fine. What type of phone are you using?

I'm using an iPhone 4S and on Safari I find no problems with the site.

As far as I can tell that device also runs on Google software. That along with the fact that others using a range of devices don't experience the problem you mention makes me think that it may be something fixable. Have you updated the software on your phone lately? Try doing so. Try also a hard reboot of the device.

I'm using a galaxy Ace 3 (small phone) and the whole site is unuseable. Its just too small.
The site theme/template is not written using HTML5 and fully responsive styles so if it does have any mobile themeing it must be using user agents to determine if access is via mobile and if your device useragent isn't in the list then it won't display properly on a mobile except for at very small text sizes which is not useable on my mobile.

I downloaded Monzillia Firefox and running this forum on that browser. MUCH BETTER.

There seems that there are two layers, or the appearance of two layers on this site. Whatever is happening, Firefox makes it usable!

Thanks

As said, the site is not Responsive, so to read on a small-screen device it is probably best to use Tapatalk (although I personally don't like it) which we do have as an option. Some browsers do seem to handle non-responsive sites better than others though.

We opted-out of Tapatalk advertising so if it starts inserting any adverts, let us know...

Cheers, Bob.
