Thanks for the link. I wonder what the classic, instant and rare films consist of? The giveaway films are names I haven't heard of. I thought I'd try and enter the store to have a look at the range of films but you need a passport word. I wonder how you get that? Maybe there is nothing to see yet but if so analogue wonderland is leaving it late as there is less than a week to go

Sorry to say it but it all looked a little hasty and poorly put together for me

I agree, Mike. Just in case signing up would prompt an invitation to open an account, I signed up and it didn't.

I've heard of some of the "partners" and the film might be quirky and interesting.

My fingers are crossed for him and his plucky endeavour.

Default Is this true

April 1st has passed for this year and the film they are talking about is completely unknown in both name and quality to me anyway. Where is the company based? Somewhere in eastern Europe or perhaps North Korea!

The extreme sceptic in me has had all the lights flashing. The promise of a new mechanical SLR has yet to materialise and the same can be said about the 'reintroduction' of Ektachrome just fuels the statement "I will believe it when it actually appears".

I for one will not be giving them my E mail address.

That was my worry as well. Apart from the complete lack of concrete information on what films are available and no details on how to obtain a a Password, the objective that stood out for me was obtaining your e-mail address in return for success in a lucky draw.

I have in the last 24 hrs used the Small Battery Company's website where "what you see is what you get". It educates and informs and it has certainly spoiled me for other sites in which there is even a hint that this may not be the case.

Where do they come from? Try deepest darkest Yorkshire no less!

They do have a Face Book page

https://www.facebook.com/Analogue-Wo...6432394584478/

No help to me as I don't use Face Book.

A quick internet search seems to say that Kosmo Photo is re-branded Foma.

Marty, you must be a better internet searcher than me. The only source that seems to carry any "info", if that is the correct word is Twitter where unsurprisingly I could find nothing of value about AnalogueWonderland apart from inane tweets, most of which were meaningless and many from other twitterers seemed to be about other sources. The only thing I was able to deduce was that AnalogueW, by its own admission in a Tweet, has a lot of work to do on the site with 8 days to go (now 6 days) and seems to have placed all "its eggs into the Twitter basket in terms of a launch

So put me out of my misery, Marty, where did you find that it is based in Yorkshire and do you know anything about its products, aims etc that will help us

Thanks

Mike
