We hope you can make it, Jon. But if not we can do again sometime.

Ian, yes the hotel is woofer friendly so do come along and join in if it works out with your wife's hospital visit etc.

I very much hope you have a great time. Tintagel looks absolutely fabulous. Cliffs, arches, and the right time of year for some good light. I'm a bit jealous on this one.

ps- Just off the A9 I have often seen a sign for Easter Tintagel. I thought it sounded like one of Fleming's Bond Girls, but now I feel prompted to find out just what it means.
Hi Skellum, Tintagel is very special and we shall have a good time for sure. One of the attractions of these gatherings is a great bunch of photographers usually turn up and have some fun! As well as image making I hasten to add!

Hopefully we shall see at one of them one day

Default Attendees

There has been quite a bit of initial interest in this gathering with several seriously looking at attending. So I thought it would be a good idea to start a list off early so everyone can see who has committed and who will commit if their personal circumstances will allow them to come along.

Certs

Neil (B&W Neil) - 3 nights booked at the hotel
Barry - 3 nights booked at the hotel
Bob

Possibles

David Lingham
Ian Grant (lostlabours) + woofer
Jon Butler

As and when more information is posted here or comes to me via PM / email I will up date the list as required. If I have left your name out please let me know!

Neil.

Sadly I can't make this one either. Days off just don't work out unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that, Rob. Hopefully we shall be able to see you at another gathering soon.

My 3 nights booked at the hotel and time off booked at work

This will be the furthest I have yet ventured into the West Country. Luckily, we have a native guide, but I do wonder if I should bring some beads and trinkets in case the locals get restless - I understand the local weapon of choice, the well-sharpened Cornish Pasty, can be rather uncomfortable if inserted with force...

Thanks again for organising Neil!

Cheers, Bob.

Bob,

Good to have you aboard on this one

You will enjoy Cornwall but I would advise you set your watch back 20 years after you cross the Devon / Cornwall border Hopefully there be no pasty fights at this gathering!

Neil.
