Zentit-B issues
I have had a 35mm Zenit-B camera sitting around for a while now, and I picked it up the other day to find that I could not trigger the shutter and I could wind on the camera as much as I liked without it stopping me. The shutter button seems to be stuck down and the film counter jumps about 30 exposures every time I push the lever. Can I have a bit of help, please?

Have you tried to turn the shutter release button clockwise? It could be that the camera is "locked" in long-exposure mode.
The user manual is freely available at http://www.butkus.org/chinon/russian...b/zenith_b.htm (sorry I had to type this, as my tablet doesn't paste). It's free to download; but the site deserves donations. |

That worked! I had a quick skim through the manual, and I saw nothing about it, though.

My advice came from the manual, not from my experience. I recommend downloading it and reading it more slowly.
