Looks like Santa arrived early in Holland!

Remember, you can't open it until after the 25th

That camera there has a BIG set of bellows!!!

Not knowing much at all about larger format, what are bellows of that length used for fully extended?

EXTREME close-ups, I'm sure Mike. So close, the bellows must almost touch the subject?

Looks very robust, and there's plenty of extension on this Marty.
Is it quite rigid fully cranked out?

Terry, I thought my Linhof Technikardan had long bellows for a field camera at 450mm but the extension of the Toyo is quite massive around 650mm. Bearing in mind the image circle of each format 162mm and 325mm respectively.

Colin, the camera itself is rock solid even when fully extended however I’m sure it‘s going to be a steep learning curve when using longer lenses, balanced on a tripod and in outdoor conditions!

Chance would be a fine thing!

Unfortunately it came with a copal 0 lens board; I have a Nikkor 300M f9 in a copal 1 shutter and a schneider 300 f5.6 in a copal 3. So whether I like it or not I'll have to wait a long while for a linhof adapter board to come from Japan and a copal 1 from Italy.

I think it's only double extension, so 24"/600mm, my 10x8 Agfa Ansco Commercial View is Triple extension and jhas just over 36"/900mm extension.

Most Field cameras are double extension it's not a down side, triple extension is beneficial if shooting with longer Focal Length lenses for portraits or close up work.

With my 5x4 cameras - Wista 45DX or Super Graphic - 12" extension is OK for close portraits with a 210mm (or shorter) but less practical with a 240mm and impossible with a 300mm (unless Telephoto). My MPP MicroTechnicals have 18"/450mm bellows extension.

The Triple/Double is relative to the normal standard FL lens, 6"/150mm for a 5x4, 12"/300mm of a 10x8.

The Toyo 810 MII maximum bellows is 820mm with the front reversed.
