Default Howdy

Hi,

I'm a keen hobby (film)/semi pro (digital) photographer living in London. Most of my photography in the last 18 months to 2 years has been film. I've got a Mamiya RB67, a few folders, a Diana and my beloved Holga.

I used to work in a commerical darkroom as a hand printer about 25 years ago. After a long break I now use a community darkroom in Hackney and have just started experimenting with Lith printing after reading Tims book.

I bought a darkroom torch from RH designs and there was a flyer with the tourch for this place, so here I am

Hoping I can learn some more about the dark arts

Cheers,

Guy

Hi Guy and welcome to FADU, I have also just started with Lith after attending a workshop with Tim Rudman.

Welcome Guy. It seems that London may be one of the last places with communal darkrooms which is a pity for the rest of the U.K.

I'm lucky because I just don't have the room to even store an enlarger in my shared 1 bed flat, and not only that, I'm spoilt for choice! There are 3 in my immediate area and at least another one a short drive away. Mind you, having to pay by the hour to lith print Fomabrom 123 will make me a poor man

Welcome from another RB owner on the other side of the world. Keep a watchful eye on it; the fittings tend to multiply.
