IIRC Ammonium dichromate can also be used in the Bromoil process as an alternative to Potassium dichromate, which is also now illegal to post.

A quantity adjustment will be required though.

Colophony resin is used to give grip to bows' strings in instruments, such as violin or cello. AFAIK it is harmless. You can give it away to a musical school.

That's interesting. My wife plays the violin and her rosin comes in a solid block. This is a powder so I guess it's the same stuff powdered. It smells the same! What's intriguing is why it was in a box of photo chemicals. The guy who passed them on to me was into alternative processes a lot.

Rosin is also used as a flux in soldering to clean the metal surfaces to be soldered. Seems to be a very versatile material.
