Experience with E Bay should have health warning for your wallet. I would not risk it unless it was connected to a reputable dealers site. Changing bags are CHEAP. I have one that I bought in 1980 and it still going strong. It cost me the equivalent of around £6 then! Possibly £50-£60 or more in todays money.

Last year I got in a large NYC store a new Kalt 27 x 30" changing bag, double zip, for about 24 USD. This seems to be the large size.
I had never used changing bags before, this one has worked OK for me. No further experience with changing bags, before this technological advance I used the old dark blanket method... |

I have two of these, one waiting to be used and the other some 15 years old (and still light-tight). My hands never get too hot in this, as they do in my old Jessops bag. I can heartily recommend the Calumet/Wex product and don't consider it over-priced.
About 10 years ago, Tudor sold me an even bigger tent which you erect over a tubing frame. It does me for 7x5. On the other hand, Paul, I see no problem with those cheaper ones on eBay. After all, you can always test them fairly quickly with scrap film or paper and return them if there's any fault, as long as the seller is in your own country. |

I also have the calumet change room and harrison tent and I
much prefer them to any change bag I've ever used. However if space and weight allows when travelling, then the fuji dark box is the ultimate.

Most other bags I have seen do not have this structure which allows your hand free movement as if your hands at least were in a darkroom
More expensive but you tend to get what you pay for. Mike |

I’ve had one of these for years. It is very good. You can load spirals without any difficulty, and there is just enough room to load/unload 4x5 film holders. I have even managed to load both the Paterson Orbital with 4 sheets of 4x5 and also the Mod54 with 4-6 sheets. You won’t be disappointed. Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

My bag is a Paterson, had it since I started developing films, (about 9 years) not that long compared to many, but it is as good today as it was when I bought it.
As Alex said, enough room it to load a couple of spirals at the same time. Ian
