Default A foreigner in the UK for the next couple of years

Hi everyone!

I am Serena Wong, from Singapore and is currently studying in University of Manchester. And as the title says, I'll be here for the next couple of years.

I shoot 35mm most of the time, both monochrome and colour. More of monochrome as the turnover time for me is a lot faster when develop the films myself in the school's darkroom (though my skill are not the best). I don't have professional cameras but some decent enough film cameras (which includes my "toy" cameras).

Glad that I found this place to learn more (:

Serena

Hi Serena and welcome to FADU. It may not be yours but you probably have one of the best darkrooms amongst us.

Welcome aboard the forum Serena and welcome to the UK!

Manchester is within striking distance of some of England's finest scenery so if you enjoy landscape photography, or just going for long walks in the countryside, you are very well located there.
