Default Hi from Yorkshire

Hi everyone,
FADU looks like a welcoming site so I thought I give it a look. Most of my photography is digital, however I really like making a mess with b&w film working. Unfortunately I have to scan my negs as I don't have a darkroom and can't see one on the horizon for the next couple of years. (I know you can set one up with the minimum of space but that definitely wouldn't work for me - ask my missus! ). I shoot 35mm and 120 and have done a little pinhole work. While I can follow the instructions on the box, I'm struggling to get a feel for the developing process, but I appreciate this will come with time and with the help of mentors - which is where I hope the ladies and gentlemen of FADU will come. All the best for now.

Welcome to the Forum.

Barry just beat me to asking. A first name would be nice to know.

I'm sure you will get all the help you need.

Bill

oops, sorry. I'm afraid I've been webbing it from the earliest days when everyone used 'handles' and the habit stuck - but it doesn't stop me signing.
Cheers

Hi Stephen
Greetings from the northlands (Geordieland actually)
I have "handles" on my darkroom doors and chemical cupboards.
I assume we are talking about the same thing. you will be comfortable with FADU
