Default Hello from Toronto, via Montreal

Hello to all.
I have just discovered this forum and was so impressed with the content and quality that I just had to sign up.
In some ways I consider myself to be very lucky as a photographer. I have had many conversations with "professional" photographers who must depend on the income they can generate with their art to make a living. They always seem to be sort of torn between priorities, and are usually frustrated. I find that my non photography day-job provides me with: enough income to generally pursue whatever/where ever I choose to photographically; enough time of my own to dedicate to my craft; and, ironically, enough time away from my craft, to do things like finding this forum, reading articles, and contemplating new ideas. I am definitely 'torn between priorities' and frustrated at times also, but it seems .... that's just how it must be.
