Hi from West Sussex
Hi All,
My name is Dave, i am 64, i live in West Sussex. I started in photography, in the 1960's, when i went to art college. I have had an interest in it ever since. I use digital as well as film, i mainly use digital, when taking shots of my Grandchildren, as they like to see the results instantly, i have not got them round to the idea of film yet. I have a Canon 7D, G10 and a G1X, for digital and i have a Canon EOS 1n, Mamiya RZ67 PRO11, also three Mamiya C330f 's I much prefer to use film, but i am now unable to develop my own film, due to my disability. I send my film away for developing, then i use an Epson V500 for scanning my negs. It's nice to find a forum, where so many people are interested in film. Dave |

Welcome to FADU, Dave. Sorry to hear of your disability preventing you from doing your own development.
Only you will know if there is definitely no way round this problem and if this is the case then I do not want to appear to be prying and the matter ends there. However if there were anything you can tell us about how your disability affects what might be required in doing tank processing then we might have the collective ingenuity to come up with some ideas. Now you are back into film then home processing if at all possible will save you a mint over time and the "I made this" feeling it gives is a wonderful thing. Mike |

Mike, Marty, Thank you very much for the welcome.
Mike, I lost my right arm in an accident at work. The reason i cannot do my own developing is, i am unable to load the film into the spiral, that goes into the developing tank, as the twisting backward and forward motion is a two handed operation, i have never been able to think of a solution to this. I see you are in Daventry, i lived in Dodford in the early 1960's Dave |
