Wow! Even then, when it was a little cheaper to buy bits, this added 'FREE' bag of odds and sods was an absolute winner for you!

Others like myself dream about coming upon something like that. I think I need to start checking out the many charity shops I have near me more regularly, as they often have cameras and bits available for sale - although I'm not expecting something as good as yours straight off!

Been there..... Not happy. Enjoying what I currently have, trying to be grateful. (Failing!)

UPDATE: as promised.

Back is functioning perfectly following the intervention of a friend who, having the required skills and tools, kindly offered to carry out the procedures specified in the video. I cannot begin to thank them and once again the phrase “the kindness of strangers” leaps to my mind.

A recent thread on FADU talked about this being the “friendly forum” and here we have yet another example of that being the case.

I have that problem with an A24 back for which I wasted £54 I went to Scotland years ago and loads of my 220 C41 print film frames were over-lapped.

Very frustrating. I shot several rolls of Velvia blissfully unaware that I had a problem so I feel your pain!
