Default Washington State here

Hello all,
Glad to be aboard. After only viewing a few threads now, I must say I'm very impressed with the civility exhibited here, very different from some other forums; but then that's what I'd expect from a predominantly UK posts and am not disappointed. Outstanding grammar/spelling, etc.

About myself, I've been doing large format work for a long time, starting in '68 after four workshops with the Man (AA) and leaving smaller formats behind and learning the Zone System. Now I'm strictly an Ilford guy (except for the HC-110 still in my inventory). I'd used Galerie graded papers with my E6 Omega 5x7 diffusion enlarger, the one with the "saucer" head, but then converted it to LEDs for VC work. My current bible is Way Beyond Monochrome 2nd Ed., to supplement AA's series.
Enough for now.

Welcome Jerry. A good analogy to the bible in the sense that Way Beyond Monochrome is the kind of book that could repay years of study. Great value for money.

Jerry, welcome.
I concur with your thoughts, I would be lost without the good people on this site, who are helpful, knowledgeable and, fortunately for me, very patient!
