The nozzle on the Parasene torch slides off after the screw on top of the burner is undone.
The nozzle has to be removed for our purpose, otherwise the burner nozzle will deliver a gas and air mixture.
No need to use the plastic tube from the Protectan spray.
Gas flow controlled from the black cone shaped tap handle already on the torch.
If you feel you really must have a long nozzle/tube to deliver the gas into the bottle a piece of heat shrink tubing place over the jet nozzle will be ideal.
If you do not feel happy or confident doing this simple modification, be safe and leave well alone.
WARNING, Never trust a gas fitter that has no eyebrows.

I think I will now stick with my suggestion and purchase, in post #4. That is a canister of reasonably priced argon gas, which is working fine for me, when topping up bottles of chemicals.

I have just double checked many sites, on which they quote: 'Argon is completely nonflammable.'

The same cannot be said of any of the other gases suggested for use.

I'm particularly careful about what I want to use, as my darkroom is in a solid wood cabin at the end of the garden.
