I looked at the developing chart they provide:
http://www.studentphotostore.co.uk/Developer.pdf and then compared it to a couple of films on the Massive Dev Chart. My first try was Fomapan 100 but the times are quite different. Next try was Shanghai and the results from the Massive Dev Chart are identical in terms of the range of developers quoted and the recommended times: http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart...ch&TempUnits=C So I think we can conclude beyond reasonable doubt, that this is Shanghai film

so its cheap to buy because its cheap film ,if it was ilford at that price that would be a bargain ,but because I think ilford film is the best on the market I will keep buying it but there seems to be a lot of people who like to experiment with all deferent films , it has a place and long live variety ,and as long as film is being made I will be a happy bunny

I agree with big paul about Ilford film, but it's such a pity that the choice is so much reduced from when I was younger. Thankfully, we can still pursue our interest, and with any luck the small amount of revenue we provide will, being split among fewer makers, enable them to continue supplying us with the materials.

Hi Folks
I have just ordered 3 rolls of this 120 film to use in my old Zeiss Ikon Nettar 6x6, the chap at the shop told me that developing info will be sent with it , I am using Kodak D76 at the moment so hope that this fits in with the developing info. When developed, i'll check the film edge, and let you know what I think of the image quality, bearing in mind the limits of the camera and the fact that the film might be Chinese. Tim |

Tim, I am sure there will be dev instructions with it but it is always worth a look on The Massive Development Chart - part of Digitatruth's website when and if you hava a film with an unknown pedigree so to speak
At 1+1 it shows D76 as 14 mins at 20C. Lets us know how it turns out Mike |
