Default You'd think it was a sunny Bank Holiday...

...as it's so quiet on here!

Hmmm . . . working 12 hours today. No bank holiday this neck of the woods. Also no Sun.
But then again, it's Stornoway.

Another Islander here, overcast this morning, brightened up about 3pm, day 2 of racing during the Manx motorcycle festival, lots of people around today, no evidence of film camera users sadly.

I was going to say that the strange thing is that there are plenty of vintage/classic bikes from the 50s and 60s and a big magazine market for classic bikes and yet we see few classic cameras from that era or even the 70s and 80s.

However it may be that classic bike users lend themselves to congregating in one place but camera users don't. As a percentage of modern bikes, classic bikes may be no bigger than the percentage of classic cameras it is just that it doesn't appear that way.

We just don't congregate at the likes of the Ace Cafe

It's funny you say I had the same thought the other day.
