Default Camera bag

New toy arrived last week.. a Pentax 67. absolute beast of a camera.. I'm sure there a few 67 users out there.. what bag do you use to carry it ?,,, is the wooden handle accessory any good ? I have a 45mm and 165mm for it, but trying to decide on the next on, should i go for 90, 105 or 135, which one will be most useful?

Hi Andy - hope you like the beast and don't scare any animals with that shutter/mirror combination!
When I had mine it fitted (just) in a Lowepro Nova - it was very tight though, but seeing as it is the only bag I have, it was fine.
As for the grip - highly recommended for not dropping what is effectively a very heavy camera - also adds balance. I'd also recommend a a really good strap . . and if you're using it for landscape, the waist level finder.
Most people rate the 105mm as about the sharpest normal lens for it - I had the 90mm, and whilst it was good it wasn't what I'd say sterling.
Hope you enjoy it . . .as I've said before on this forum, mine, whilst I had it drove me mad, but I really miss it!
Phil

Don't forget to wear earmuffs when you use it; other than that enjoy it.

I always used to compose, focus, sort all the settings, retire behind some sandbags and get a passing orphan to release the shutter

Andy, I did own a Pentax 6x7 for a number of years and I must say the 45 was the most used lens, followed by the 135 macro. Although not a true 1:1 macro it was a super sharp lens, one I would certainly recommend. I also had the 90 mainly because it had the multiple exposure feature. My one was not quite up to the quality I was getting from the 135.

I used a Sacar (spelling?) bag for it. I still have this bag, but it is now used just for storing bits of camera kit. It is the hard case type and I must confess not the most comfortable to carry.
