Rannoch Moor and Glen Etive.
I don't know if anyone else was lucky enough to be in this area at the weekend, but the weather and light were superb. I have an American visitor staying at the moment, and had meant to join him on a trip there on Friday. Unfortunately work got in the way. He went with my wife and son and had an enjoyable day. I decided to go myself on Saturday. I spent a pleasant couple of hours with my Bronica, until I realised that I had been shooting on the multiple exposure mode! It was too late to retrace my steps, so I had to come home empty handed. I checked the forecast for Sunday, and it was to be good again. I went back to the same spots and managed to expose two rolls in the Bronica. I will process them this week, and hope to have something worthwhile. I have travelled the A82 through this area several times each year since the early '70s, but have never gone specifically for photography. I can highly recommend making the trip, but care has to be taken finding safe places to stop. On both days, I arrived about 3.00 and left about 6.00 as the light was fading. It's about two hours in the car from Glasgow, but well worth the effort.

Yes and I once met Alan-Breck Stuart near Rannoch Muir His accent was strange for a highlander. I asked if it was his intention to make for Edinburgh Castle but he said that his destination was the Elephant and Castle
It was after that version of "Kidnapped" that the SNP's rating sky-rocketed. Mike |
