Lovely to hear you are out.
I bet it's nice to get home to familiar surroundings and a decent cup of tea.
Cheers to you Peter.

All the best, Pete!
Lost my best friend to cancer 10 days ago. Lesson learned again: it ain't over 'til it's over. May you recover well and enjoy some more time around.

The NHS funded it -- I had an En-suite private room. i now have another Huge CUT semi-circular on my Abdomen -- very SORE --- NO Heavy Lifting, NO darkroom work but I can manage Film processing only. Surgeon said it would take 6 weeks to recover !
glad you are on the road to recovery pete. Rest and dont rush things.

Thanks Dave-
I hadn't, but watched it last night. The reason I thought Pete might have a collection of stories to tell is from his regular posting of new albums. From the variety of stuff in them I assumed he'd be a very busy young man, who has seen plenty in his lifetime.
Well done him!

I've been watching videos by a chap on the Isle of White and tonight came across this one. After a while, there was a photo of a young Peter Elgar, and I thought to myself, "Well I've seen that photo just the other day". I think it must've been on this site somewhere. Anyway, good luck with the healing Peter.

once again Many Thanks for all you Kind Thoughts. I had a 'telephone clinic' with Mr Hutchings the Surgeon on Wednesday. He was happy to hear the PAIN on my right side was getting better -- that is where he cut out the lower Lesion. The Histology showed one was 25mm and the pother was 30mm across. We had a good 'Medical Chat' as I am ex RAMC Pathology and he explained his technique he used on me. I am now on 'Surveillance' with Dr Tsang Oncologist at Southend Hospital. No Darkroom work but I have done a bit of B&W processing.
