When I walk into these large department stores I start to sweat and have an overwhelming urge to run away and be anywhere else. I just know we will have to have a coffee in the store cafe where the cost of the coffee will be a few handfuls of film.
I cannot grumble really as my wife was planning a beach holiday, so how I talked her into a city break must be up there as one of my few, but greatest, victories.
I must admit I am looking forward to some decent beer, but if it is anything like the Grunhalle I use to drink in the 80's I may stay on the red wine; there was some truly bad beer around at this time.

Going back a bit further there was Double Diamond, Watney's Red Barrel and Worthington E.

Aren't they all on the Weapons of Mass Destruction list now?

Given that alcohol in alcoholic beverages is a Group 1 Human Carcinogen ( meaning proven casue and has been for 20 or so years,) and the following, then I think you're right.
