Default Solarcans

Hi,
I wasn't sure whether to put this under toy cameras or pinholes, but has anyone made heliographs using pinholes like the solarcan? I've had one up for about a month and was wondering how long others left theirs to get good suntrail pics.

Cool, hope it turns out well Is it your first time doing heliographs? I'm really looking forward to seeing how mine works out!

Yes, first try with a solargraph. Using a pinhole box only a couple of months. Started with just a cardboard box all taped up, rebuilt that box this week from 5mm foamcore board. The solargraph is using a piece of cut down paper - 6cm x 9cm in an adapted bulk film roll box.

Just using RC paper negs - 5" x 7". Developing in old/used paper developer. Scanning to computer then rather than contact printing. Maybe once I get some decent images in a consistent way I will try contact printing.

But I'm keen to see the three month exposure, would then do a solstice to solstice exposure if it looks as expected...
