Had set up for a night shot and a German tourist stuck her digicam up my nose and fired the flash in my eyes. I think she understood the string of anglo-saxon curses.

When I used my Zenit Photosniper at the Clacton air show a few years back, my Wife nudged me and told me that many people in the crowd were looking at me rather than the aircraft. Maybe, as it's mounted on a gunpod they expected me to shoot at the aircraft instead of just shooting them.

Farnham's accessible to you, Adrian - and Guildford has a sort of wee castle too.

Default Nice people

If you really want to stop a crowd try a touring tricycle and a LF camara!
People are puzzled by both and the resulting Q and A session can raise many smiles and leave heads being scratched as I pedal away.

I'm taking my Crown Graphic with me to the french alps next week, so am hopeful of getting some nice weather, and will attempt to answer questions from strangers with my rather bad french....

A shrug of the shoulders and an expressive pair of hands will suffice!
