Default How many degrees you have now in your darkroom?

Hi. Today I have in my darkroom 35º C. I was searching to converse and that's I think 89.6º F. I have not an A.C. machine in it. Must to wait for a best time to develop. "Welcome summer"

In England, we usually have the opposite problem and often can’t imagine what 35º C feels like. Do you tend to develop at shorter times, like around 74º or 76º as a norm?

No cliveh. I prefer to use the darkroom for develop in winter o autum times. Autum is the best time because is normal to have 69º F +- 20º C. In the winter time there's not problems using a hot machine. On theese days I'm thinking to buy an A.C. machine and move my bed to the darkroom. Will be good sleep there.

35C = 95F

What ever units you are comfortable with - its too warm to develop film

In my darkroom, the summer is the only time I don't have to compensate for the developer cooling off as the processing time progresses

If you keep the film in a reasonably cool location and out of direct sunlight, it should be fine until the temperature becomes more reasonable

Coldest day of the year so far; mid-winter solstice. The darkroom thermometer reads 15 Celcius...brrrr.

As I recall, once the mercury heads past about 30ºC in England (as it occasionally does), the news there is full of reports of people dying in their homes. So, for your sake Clive, I hope you never experience 35!

As Maris said, it is about 15ºC inside here today. I am worried about losing my fingers and toes...

It's been around 20 in the darkroom for the last week or so, my home is so well insulated these days, and my darkroom is indoors, that the temp this time of the year stays fairly stable,around 20 to 24, and hovers around 15 without the heater in the winter,
Richard

Mine holds a steady 25 degrees in summer but goes up to nearly 30 if I use my RC print dryer a lot.

Curiously enough it's mid-summer solstice here and the thermometer also reads 15 Celsius. Flaming June? Don't make me laugh
