I split the file in two parts to meet the 2 Mb max size requirement.

Many thanks for those.

I've recently dug out my Canon A1, and despite having used a Minolta SRT101 for many years, and Canon EOS DSLRs after that time, I found several features on the sophisticated A1 a mystery.
