For almost half the price of an Intrepid you can buy an MPP Micro Technical MkVII with a lens (OK a 90mm f6.8 Angulon).

Just got mine. Very pleased, but haven’t had the chance to use it yet. I like.

An MPP Micro Technical MkVII for circa £140 Ian? I don't need another one but with respect I'm sure many of us would all like to know where one could be bought today at this price.

Ebay, a MkVII for around £180 with the Angulon which is worth £90 There are two issues, there's no focus screen - not a problem as the seller says where to get one, and there's no focus hood, but they turn up at camera fairs.

I have no connection with the seller at all (or contact) but he links to me as the screen supplier

It was listed with a starting price of £180 and went unsold, it was then relisted, both times with the or Best Offer option. It was a bargain and appears it sold.

It is worth putting a stored search on ebay - rather than having to remember to check manually, you can just forget about it until you get an email when it finds one. You just have to be careful with the search term to avoid getting gazillions of irrelevant alerts - or none because you misspelt something...
